2012 Tamarisk Coalition Symposium, February 15-17, 2012 - Grand Junction, CO

The 2012 Tamarisk Symposium will be here before you know it! This event brings together nearly 250 restoration practitioners, land managers and research scientists to share knowledge and guide future efforts in western riparian restoration. Tentatively we are planning on having 2 days of presentations and 1 day of workshops, plus a vendor/practitioner expo! Event schedule to come, stay tuned. The Sustainable Funding Report

This paper explores potential long-term and sustainable funding options that will be necessary for the successful implementation of a basin-wide riparian restoration initiative. This paper discusses how several funding mechanisms might be received at varying geo-political scales and makes recommendations regarding future steps including strategies to create a financial plan that could combine various funding mechanisms discussed.
